Valerie Turton is a Visual Artist currently working from a Studio at Surface Gallery Nottingham. 
Contemporary drawing is used as a time-based, ritualistic practice to develop ideas that explore the notions of Tradition, Folklore, and Culture. Sculptural works are a direct link to the 
materials that represent these traditions and lifestyles.
