Drawings made during 2 hour walk along a line in Curzon Street car park, Birmingham. The walk was led in silence by Hamish Fulton.

Hamish Fulton Walk.

An interesting and exhilarating day spent ..'walking a line' on Curzon Street car park ! Directed by Hamish Fulton with Ikon Gallery.
The day was very cold and a real endurance to walk a short distance over a period of two hours.
Cold hands did not deter me from keeping my line drawing going for the duration of the walk. Many interesting observations to reflect upon...

Hamish Fulton Walk.

Tomorrow I,m taking part in the Hamish Fulton walk in Birmingham. Should be an interesting day. Ritualistic walking in Silence. Meditative and an opportunity to make a drawing that will last for the duration of the walk. 2hours in a secret location... Just revealed to be 'a car park' !
I,m hoping we can take photographs.
